Barnfield College

Barnfield College is based in Luton with 4 different campuses in and around the town which offers part time and full time courses, apprenticeships, university level courses and A levels. All of the courses at the college offer varying qualification levels from Level 1 which is the equivalent to some GCSE’s (D-G) to a Level 6 qualification (Bachelors degree).

The four campuses are broken up into hairdressing, adult courses, technology and the remainder of the courses which include public services, sports, creative arts and business. All full time courses are free for 16-18 year olds.

Over 19’s have to pay unless they receive any of the following; Job Seekers Allowance, Housing Benefit, Income Support, Council Tax Benefit and Disability Living Allowance. Over 19’s could also qualify for a free college course if they’re unemployed but seeking work, and if they’re applying for their first Level 1, 2 or 3 qualification.
